Alegria

Located in a privileged spot in Altos de Chavon, where breathtaking views of the river are a delight, Alegría has become one of Casa de Campo’s IT SPOTS. Its attributes are many and among them stand out, equally, its gastronomic proposal and its pleasant atmosphere. Those who say that the place catches you just by entering are not wrong!

The restaurant specializes in Mediterranean cuisine with a splash of Dominican soul. Their menu changes frequently, but from which it is impossible to get some dishes that remain the most popular: ceviche with coconut and ripe plantain, burrata, suckling pig and coconut fondant. As for the cocktails, the adult morisoñando and the sugar cane guarapo Dominican moscow mule. AMAZING!

In command of the kitchen, we find the extremely talented chef with a Michelin star, Javier Cabrera, and as executive chef, Jean Carlos Bueno. They are accompanied by a passionate team that strives to make the experience at the table as incredible as the beautiful setting.

In Alegría, the decoration is minimalist, the music is designed to fill you with good vibes and the atmosphere is super nice and unique. There are no distractions or visual noise. With the view as the focal point, it is a place that will definitely make you smile. Another plus that we love is the good service they offer. Its staff, always attentive, has become famous for anticipating the needs of its clients, making each visit a memorable one and making locals and tourists always dream of returning.

On your visit to the restaurant, make sure you go early to enjoy the natural spectacle that takes place at sunset. We recommend accompanying the experience with a cold sparkling wine and a curious aperitif. The most important thing is that you enjoy that special moment without haste that will surely fill you with joy… and ALEGRÍA.
